St. Mary’s Mill

Unit 1

St. Mary’s Mill

Selkirk

TD7 5EW

A former textile mill, St Mary’s Mill supports a small group of local artists with 12 studio spaces.

Selkirk is one of the first Royal Burghs and marks the site of one of the oldest settlements in what is now known as the Scottish Borders. St Mary’s Mill sits on the bank of the Ettrick Water, a tributary of the River Tweed.

The studios at St. Mary’s Mill are all similar in size (around 200sqft.) and house a strong, close-knit community of artists and makers. The space is largely open plan, with a communal area in the centre.
